Up On The House Top~Fire!

This takes place when we were returning from a restaurant in Downtown Cleveland. We were on our way to catch the highway and off to side, I noticed fire. I called 911 and within minutes the firefighters were fighting the blaze in this old vacant home. Unknown as to why the house caught on fire but it was weird to catch it in action from beginning to end. These firefighters are so courages and to see them in action on the room demoloshing what's left of this old vacant house.... It's definetly history going down in a blaze of glory! I just love how I caught the silouhette of the firefighter on the roof.

Annamaria this is a very strong image, to me it has an almost spooky quality, excellent work

Artist Reply: I agree Gavin. It's is in a sense quite weird to catch this in action. I truly just happen to get there before anyone else and I was the first person to call 911. Thank God it was abandoned but on a very well lived street with full houses around.

GREAT PHOTOJOURNALISM!

Artist Reply: Great Feedback Emily! I really was moved from all the firefighters actions. I was so afraid they would fall through the rooftop because the room below was filled with flames.
