Clay's look is ever changing. This is from a photo op, I think, and in the future, I may draw his jacket, and rose in the lapel. For now, just his face.

THANKS FOR FIXING
THIS IMAGE AW!!! :))
Maybe just an outline for the jacket and rose, just to finish it off, but for the most part, the face is excellent! Doesn't need too much more than that...
Artist Reply: Sherrie, you are one of my artistic "role models" :) Thanks for your
suggestion, and I'm sure I will get to it eventually!
Carliss, you say HIS look is ever-changing, but YOU'VE adapted YOUR style (very light handed on this one, ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT!!) to capture HIS new look. BRAVO, CArliss!!!
Artist Reply: Janet, I am glad you saw what I tried to do. It's sort of the reason I left out the jacket, because it's very dark. Maybe I'll change the color. He, he! Thank you dear friend!!
Beautiful drawing Carliss! You have inspired me to try a portrait myself.....mmmm...I'll see what happens LOL!
Artist Reply: Hi, Kathie! Doesn't hurt to break away, or out of the box sometimes. I think i'm going to be doing that soon myself. Thank you, and looking forward to your portrait!

This is stunning and I am so glad I can comment again. Would love to see the jacket and rose in lapel too. Jackie
Artist Reply: Jackie!!!! I was hoping you were okay! I'm also glad you can comment again, and glad you like this drawing. Don't know how soon, but I'll try getting the jacket and rose done in the near future. Thanks so much!!
Holy cow....did I ever pick a good night to drop in! Amazing Carliss! Like the others...I love the softness in this sketch. How is it that every so often you do a sketch that makes my finger tips tingle with the sensation on touch? This is one!
Artist Reply: I've been thinking about you girl! Glad you got a chance to look in. Glad you like it, too. Thanks so much! Always, I'm happy when you drop in.
