James Brown

The night after Martin Luther King Jr. was assassinated James Brown performed at Boston Garden. His agreeing to let the concert be televised is widely credited with helping keep much of the city calm.

Great work June! James Brown was electric on stage generating a lot of energy and keeping the audience focused. A truely great talent and his concert must have eased the tension.
