The night after Martin Luther King Jr.
was assassinated James Brown performed at Boston
Garden. His
agreeing to let the concert be televised
is widely credited with helping keep
much of the city calm.
very well said and done, sister June. You know I was only at the gardens once, and that was for a Celtic v piston BB game, it was awesome. course that was the old Gardens too.
Great work June! James Brown was electric on stage generating a lot of energy and keeping the audience focused. A truely great talent and his concert must have eased the tension.
