this is a painting i did in 1966 and one of my first sales..i was about 16 years old and loved to paint and had dreams of being a great artist one day.. i showed my uncle my work he lived in new york city and i thought he was hip and was in the swing of things... he really liked my art and bought this one and a few more for his new appartment.needless to say i was thrilled and thought boy i'm living up to my dreams... two years later i was drafted got married and my dreams started to fade.. oh well sh-- happens.. well to make a long story short.. my uncle died a few years back and last week i got a call from his good buddy and room mate from NYC.. he asked me if i wanted a painting that my uncle had that i painted... so today it came in the mail.. my first art sale.. and some great memories to boot.. hope you enjoy ...phil 16x20 on canvas

The Nation may have stolen your art 'time'. It couldn't however, steal your heart for painting which shows like a bright light in your pics of your grandchildren. Ron Atkin
