Abstract-illustration 02

'abstract illustration' work-is essentially 'quirks of work' in a book dedicated to faces rendered in graphite/ pen/markers/color inks. It is not portraits but rather a melding of media & technique all the while staving away from traditional rendering. This book has only been in the works for 5 yrs. Working in this fashion lends itself towards rendering portraits in a subdue view.

Artist Reply: It's been touched by hundreds and I'm only halfway thru. The beauty of drawing in this book is the portability......and although I'm the artist I can say honestly ever time I pa rous the pages i'm enamored with the view. Thank you Annette.
