Flower of Tears

DRY THE WATER FROM YOUR EYE. IT DOES NOT HURT TO SHED A TEAR. THE PHYSICAL PAIN IS EMPTY. BUT SADNESS IS HARD TO BEAR. Poem by NoriBento, 7th April 2008 ====================== I had a hard decision with my lover yesterday. We cried a lot, tears, tears and tears.....When the tears stopped, I started painting this picture. After painting I was a bit surprised because they were so colourful and it looked happy even though our painful emotion inspired me. ====================== Acrylic painting on 68 x 48 cm black paper. ====================== Many thanks for stopping by.

Wow! What a feast for the eyes, Hiromi! Very nice poem, NoriBento! Hope everything is OK with you and you are smiling again. Did you know that there is a Hiromi in Tel-Aviv right now? Japanese soprano Hiromi Omura plays Madame Butterfly at the Israel Opera. Warm regards, Lili

Artist Reply: Hi Dear Lili Thank you for your comment. NoriBento will be pleased you liked his poem. Oh very interesting to know Hiromi Omura is in Israel - she was in Germany a little while ago. Hope she is a success there!

who is nori bento? i like the poetry you have shown me....i'm sorry you are having difficult times...sometimes i feel like the tears won't stop, i think maybe you needed the colorful vibrant image to help you regain your true self, which lives without sorrow and loss

Artist Reply: Thank you for your comment Ben. NoriBento is my lover and he writing and playing music as well as verse! I think artistic people tend to be perhaps more emotional and it can inspire the art in us whether it be drawing, writing a story or composing music. I sometimes ask NB if he can put some words to go with my art. I did feel better after creating this! :-))

Love the poem and the artwork ,dearest Hiromi... Art, if you enjoy doing it..can lift your moods... Your work show joy and optimism...So i hope the decision you and your lover, taking will take you to SPRING TIME, in your life. Gorgeous colours...wonderfully composed... When I'm sad..I simply can't create..so I'm glad that the sadness replace, with joy... Love xx Nira

Artist Reply: Thank you dearest Nira. Yes Nira, when I had deeply painful experience I can't do anything too....so maybe this time was not so deep hurt....I don't know I can't compare. But what I know, sometimes sad and pain emotion gave me deep inspired. I don't want sad problem, of course! Thank you again, Nira. I did not try Japanese style of picture yet :) Kisses and hope your calm, Hiromi
