Oh the colors are so so perfect!! I love the boldness of her wing in contrast to her pale skin and the light airy feel to the piece is so fae!

Artist Reply: Thank’s Emily :) I just love how you say this painting is so Fae! Brought a smile to my face… Peace and Love….

perfectly drawn and painted. A wonderful illustration. I wish I had this kind of control using watercolors. The washes are just perfect.

Artist Reply: Thanks John :) I’m not quite sure if its perfect though as I feel there is too much negative space and I’m not so happy with her skin, but I am improving and that’s what matters to me. Lovely comment, I appreciate it :)

This is truly lovely, almost like looking into a spiral of a sea shell, I like the swirl. Excellent style and tones, wonderful delicate lines and forms, simply EXQUISITE! Honest! Thank you for stopping in to see me once more. I am truly surprised. I hope you are well and happy. Your work is unforgettable. God be with you always. Much Love Sinseerly CB

Artist Reply: It is sorta like a sea shell, humm, hadn’t thought of that! Thank you so much for the lovely comment, esp. the remark on the tones (something I’m working on that’s hard to define). Sorry for not popping by much, I tend to respond to the comments for my work here and then go checking out the commenter’s site (is that a word?). Anyway, I do this as I maintain several gallery sites as well as my web site, which leaves little time for much else, it doesn’t help that I don’t particularly like spending time on the computer either! Either way, I truly enjoy what you post and, of course, the lovely comments, looking forward to further communications, Peace and Love :)

ahhhhhh... soooooo beautiful and soft toned.... your watercolor skills are amazing Ora! Ever thought of publishing it? --Love and Light~MOI

Artist Reply: Thank you so much for that wonderful comment! I would love to be published, though I’m not quite sure if I’ve gotten to that level of expertise? I think I need to be more consistent before any publisher would look seriously at me, and the thought of sending out portfolios to publishers/agents, only to be rejected, would really be discouraging. Plus I’m not quite sure how to do that, in the past, print on demand project heads approached me for their compilations which I did do and am in two books available at Amazon (you can see these on my web site: http://foxora.com ). So, I will keep honing my skills until that moment comes my way! Any advice would be welcome in this area Olga, it’s always good to have ones peers look my way, Peace and Love :)

Beautiful water colors Ora!!! A perfect picture for the start of spring!! Great work!!

Artist Reply: Thank you Patrick, I am actually quite happy with this painting, which is saying something, as I’ve been disappointed with my work recently. A simple painting to be sure, but uses solely watercolor, no cheating with pencil work, and has an actual focal point, some rhythm and originality, even though the obvious influences of my favorite artists are quite clear, I am ok with that!
