Sugar Britches Twins

Two baby dolls done from the reproduction mold Sugar Britches. She was intended to be a sleeping baby, but for the second doll, I made her wide eyed and playful. Both dolls have porcelain head and hands, and the bodies and legs and feet are fabric stuffed with fiberfil.There diaper sets and hats are handmade, and they ware wearing infant sz 0 stretch tights. 22 inches tall each.

thats so amazing you do dolls joan, i have a few in my collection of dolls but to make them that's amazing congrats they are beautiful !

Artist Reply: Thank you very much, Katerina. I kind of stumbled into making the dolls. I love porcelain dolls, and had begun collecting them and stopped by a doll shop. The woman who owned the shop was on vacation, but I left my name. She assumed I wanted to sign up for classes, and called. I decided to go for it,and ended up making 22 dolls with her. She is retired now, but still one of my best friends.
