The Forest King invited all the flowers to a party, including the two brothers from the Rockrose family. One of them, who was neat and peticulous, got up early, showered and shaved, applied cologne, wore a white ironed shirt and got to the party right on time. His lazy brother got up late, didn't shave, wore the first shirt he found, that was worn out and wrinkled, and ran to the party. When he arrived there and saw all the guests dressed up, clean and tidy, he blushed. Since then, the Soft-Hairy Rockrose looks unshaved, its blushed petals are wrinkled and it is odorless, while its brother, the Sage-Leaved Rockrose, is not hairy, its petals are white and ironed, and it eminates a delicate fragrance... The photos were taken on March 12, 2008 at the Botanical Gardens at Tel-Aviv University.
