Steven Q. Urkel

I am not a television watcher, but I used to be. I did not watch this show when it aired, but my son insisted that I had missed great slap-stick humor by not watching "Family Matters." I found it necessary to start watching from the beginning of the show to appreciate what became obvious to me after a while. Although the show had wonderful actors, and great family situations to learn from, Steven Q. Urkel's(Jaleel White)comedic genious played off each of the other members of the cast held that show together. I laughed so hard, and his voice annoyed me as he got older, but getting past that, it was great. Some of the shows, I had to watch again because they were so funny. Laughter makes you feel good, and it lasts afterward if you think about what you have seen. Laughter is good for the soul, I think. I thanked my son for coaxing me to watch it, and now I'm a fan of that show, and Jaleel White, in particular.
