18x24/charcoal/2005........I found, after the Dr Quinn piece, being pursuant to render portraits in a montage-fashion; an image program was used in the setup to find the balance prior to pushing my pencil across the page.

Beautifuly executed, a piece full of life, and character. Great job on their facial features.

Artist Reply: I have to admit I'm not happy with this piece....It feels 'clunky' when I look at the reference photo- as though 'fingertips from the finish line'. But I do see life within it.
