Great Egret Giving Me

©Delores J. Knowes 2008 -- This Great Egret (Casmerodus albus) is just one I had to have fun with. It was shortly after sunrise on the shores of Lake Harris in Lake County, Florida, and I had been taking quite a few shots of this pretty lady who was being very obliging. At one point, I guess she had enough of the camera, because she turned to face me and gave me a stare that said “enough....be gone!” And I did.
