Swan of South Pond

This swan lived about a mile from me at South Pond. He lost his mate due to tragedy and lived with the ducks and geese after that.

Oh how sad but at least he had a place to go. Nice work to capture his beauty

Artist Reply: Thank you, again, Gerry. Yes, it was a sad story. He surely found lots of love here, though! He was quite photogenic ~~ he would come right out of the water & walk up to you & with the long neck look you up and down, then return to the water. Awesome swan!

Great shot, like the shadow of the neck and bill on the wing shoulder.

Artist Reply: Thank you, John. I have not had much positive response on that, thanks.

Hey! I know this swan! It's a super shot! I love the reflections on the water too.

Artist Reply: Thanks, Becky! Thanks to you for inspiring me to put that camera to work. And for helping me to use that swan on my business cards! Your dedication to the arts encouraged me so many times.
