Artist Reply: Thank you very much, John. The dolls were great fun to do, and are all special to me. The wonderful lady who taught me to make them passed away last year. I still have all but one of the dolls I made-I gave one to one of my daughters.

Artist Reply: Thank you!! I started out collecting dolls years ago, then began taking classes with a lady who became one of my dearest friends. Claire is 22 inches tall, and I made her around 5 years ago. She has real eyes (glass with a clear acrylic coating) which gives the appearance of being real. L look forward to hearing from your mom.
