Artist Reply: Olga, David was inspired by Van Gogh, Dali, Escher amoung many other artists. Thank you so much for your wonderful comments, I will send them to David on Monday as I know he will be so pleased to read them. He builds his own canvases, after they dry enough, he unstretches them and sends them to me. I photograph each piece and store them. I will have to ask him how much time he spends on each piece, and I know that they vary- but the detailed ones take the longest to paint. Thank you again Olga! - Cathy Jones
