Really pretty...I love how you managed to get in a lot of fine details in the surroundings without detracting from the subject! Shy yet inquisitive...sort of Mermaidian :)

WoW! your grip on acrylics is amazing very nice painting

You have a nice sense of the integration of the subject into a meaningful background. Many portraits have the figure floating in a sea of pastel colors. I want the background to tell me something about the subject and be inseparable from it.

Artist Reply: Thank, I appreciate the positive words. I love painting the evergreens and mountains that we have here in Oregon! She was actually in that environment, so I cannot take credit for that, but I do like how the painting came out. Dixie
