Oreo is my Mother in Law's dog, he is a ball of energy and loves his chew toys. He is a Shih-Zhu. 12hrs drawing time.

Artist Reply: Isn't he just.. lol and quite the ham too, when someone taps on the glass table in the living room, he goes nuts and tries to bite the glass even if you have stopped tapping.. quite the entertaining lil fellow. :)

Nicely done. I too am trying my hand at animals. Love the way you did his fur.

Artist Reply: Hi Penny, sorry for the delay, been unwell. I shade in the dark areas first, then go over it in small strokes, in the same direction the hair lays. Being careful not to shade over the light spots. I tend to use the rubbing stick more so than the pencil to draw with.
