An unfinished wood box that I designed a celestial theme for as a gift for a fellow astronomy friend. I used acrylic paint, a stenciling technique, and decoupaged a star map inside the lid and finished off with a bit of distressing on the finish. It was a fun project and now holds my friends' small miscellaneous stargazing accessories such as telescope lenses.

Wonderfully finished piece. You are handy woman :) Astronomy is one of my favorite subjects... had a collection of glassware with an exact celestial theme. Fantastic work, Kathy.
