Undercurrents

While Vacationing in Costa Rica, my daughter took a wonderful photo of this very old pier, with the pilings remaining strong while the twisted metal support rods would suggest otherwise. The ocean was exhibiting anger, in stark contrast to the pale blue sky. The signs of time are witnessed by the crusty accumulation of sea life and the turquoise chemical deposits on the otherwise healthy looking pilings.
