4 x 6 inches, watercolor, December 2007 I was feeling a bit tired and uninspired today but needed to paint...so took the lazy option and did a Masters Challenge for my ebay group Wnw. I've never really liked the Mona Lisa, always felt it was over-rated, so I thought it would be a good idea to have a closer look. It has that weird background that seems to be on different levels and her smile is quite hard to capture. I still like the idea it was Leonardo in drag smiling to himself at the joke. Anyway, here is my effort...

you captured her......I also like the idea of Leonardo in drag.........I do believe he had wicked sense of humor and he diffently marched to the beat of a different drummerKukua Akumanyi 14 Dec 2007
