Sonya Vida (portrait of an Indian author) 2007

This is a portrait of an Indian author friend, Vidya Soni. She has helped me with editing a number of stories on the Zoetrope site. She wrote an interesting work "Indian Maidens Bust Loose," which explores the contrasts and continuities between young women in India and their Westernized counterparts.
