The scan quality is poor on this image.. the pencil work was much softer and I think my scanner didn't want to give me credit for it lol. This drawing was an assignment for a horizontal composition. I also completed vertical, square, circle, and oval compositions with the same subjects. I was fun using these candles because they were different shapes, colors, and some textures. Giving the illusion of a cylinder was challenging.
