20" x 16" 6B Graphite on 140lb cold pressed Strathmore watercolor paper. A commission of two dogs that each have their own bed but always hog the same one for some reason. I guess it's just the best bed. I Included the reference up in the corner to show you the changes that I made. The dog in the front was somewhat blocking the one behind it's face, so I was asked if I could fix that. Also with the beds being the important element in the design I felt that they should be finished off ... I think that was the most time consuming part of the whole drawing. I simplified the background so it wouldn't be too busy and Voila.
