I love the colors you've chosen to paint this with. Very effective against the black. Just as an aside, I use to have trouble photographing my work until someone told me to take the work outside, on a sunny day, and photograph it in the shade, (to avoid sun glare), WITHOUT the flash. My work is generally small enough to hang on a board outside propped up against the side of the house, but I have also put it on a table and climbed up on a ladder to shoot it from above. Anyway I think your work is great and would display much better without the glare of the flash washing out parts of it.

very good blending in this work, to me this painting attracts the veiwer for its lovely colors at first glance, but as you look closer, you cant help to be (torn apart) by the sword peirceing eyes.. i love it!
