Her name is Death

This was a really cool paintjob to do, the customer wanted a flat clear on the black base. He gave me ideas outof a comic book - the angel i painted is from artist Rick Berry. We also used a gothic font to spell out "her name is death" on the right side of the tank. Then we decided to put 13 black roses on black- which was a challenge but i think it came out really cool. I have to take sharper photos of it soon.

Was it from the Sandman comic book? Great series. I'm just thinking of death imagery being on a bike. Seems defiant in one way and a respectful reminder of the risks involved. Renaissance paintings would have reminders of death, (memento morei). This makes the bike somewhat of a traveling altarpiece.
