lets see if i can remember everythng i sd about this... first the color contrast; red is common for love but also vibrant and can be violent while the background colors are soothing. obviously the heart is easy to interpret but the over all shape of the piece reminds me of a necklace, usually a gift of love. the arms end in flowers but can also be viewed as an explosion, a symbol of change.
