The watch saw it from his crowsnest, but thought it was merely a school of the tropical fish so often found in the Caribbean. He fell from the nest a moment after this mistake; the 'fish' had just slammed into the boat. The sailors screamed, half-drunk after a day of hard work. The Captain sent his orders, but in vain... the beast reached down and took half the crew with a single bite. Filled with pure, reaking fear, the survivors flew to the Captain's chambers, hoping to see the sun shining tomorrow and not the dark depths of the behemoths gut.
