On our sixth day we flew from London Heathrow to Charles De Gaulle in Paris. Landing at one in the afternoon, we were finally on the train to Paris at three. We got off at La Madelaine Station, which, as it turned out, was more than mile away from the studio we had rented. We walked, luggage in tow, down the streets of Paris. We stopped at one point to grab a bite to eat, a fresh baguette stuffed with ham and new cheese with a cup of coffee, then off we trudged to find Rue de Moliere, where our little studio was located. This is a statue dedicated to the French playwright and actor, Jean-Baptiste Poquelin, also known by his stage name of Moliere, and yes, that is me beside it, surrounded with luggage! By the way, before we left Paris, we had mastered the subway, much like in London! Image captured 09/20/2007.
