Artist Reply: Thank you very much for your lovely comment on my work. I actually won an award for that portrait on an art website that I belong to. I took the reference picture from an advertisement that I recieved in the mail for hair coloring. I thought she was so beautiful I had to try to draw her and now I am glad I did. :-)
