Information:
I painted this windmill on a used canvas, which I primed first. I didn't sand it to keep the structure of the old canvas beneath.
I love the speed which one can feel, looking at this windmill. That's more important for me than the windmill itself, which I painted vaguely.
I scratched in the sails of this windmill on variant places in the various layers of paint.
I love the copper earth tones, the raw sienna and the different gold tones I often use for the background, which gives this windmill a warm color effect. (Transparent Acra Gold -Liquitex- is one of my favorite's!)
