This is one of my very first abstracts ever. What I found really interesting and worth mentioning is the feedback it got at shows. In talking to viewers it seemed that each one of them saw in this piece something that related specifically to what was going on in their particular lives at the time. It was one that seemed to hold their attention for quite a while.

Great job Ruth!!! To me the circular area on the perimeter reminds me of looking into a rearview or sideview mirror of a car like all that chaos found in the middle is going on behind you as you move away from it. (ok ...I know I'm weird but that's what it made me think of ;) )Mark Peterson 31 Aug 2007
It's well balanced with neutral colors, and to me represents an organized view of chaos. In our ever changing world we seek order where there is none... and create chaos when it is unnecessary. The happy medium doesn't really exist so to speak. With abstract we often don't know where we are going...it just happens. Have a nice day Ruth!katja cuikova 31 Aug 2007
