A recent commission i completed for a client, A portrait of a loved one.

Completed with Charcoal and Pastels on 9x12 vellum bristol board.

beautiful :), how do make the hair white, do you erase it in?

Artist Reply: thank you sharon so much!! :) yes what i do is after i add the shading depending on the hair color , i then use my kneaded eraser to pull out soft highlights charcoal works great for this effect :)

It looks so real that it's like a photo!!!!. It's beautiful and with your skills you have created a very good memorial piece to keep the spirit of this woman alive in a tranquil and most lovely state. An honorable thing to do with your skills. It makes me happy to see :D
