Cup of Suffering

Macro of a "Crown of Thorns" flower after a rain. I have always been fascinated by painting or drawing water drops, their reflections and shadows. The name "Cup of Suffering" came to me as part of the Crown of thorns flower has symbolism references to the crucifix.

Wow I wish I had a macro! this is awesome! you are wonderful

Artist Reply: Thanks Tanelle :) alot of times when I didn't have a macro, if you have a good digital mine is 8 mp I would get in as close as I could, shoot on highest pixels then just crop when I resize my pictures... now I have my macro back but this one was done with regular lens. Try it! :)
