Plein-air painting at 6 a.m. on a misty French morning from atop a private castle. The first known painting to be created in this location. It was chilly, but the breeze was like music so high up - only birdsong could be heard from nearby trees. Painted on location during my tenure as founding editor of Plein Air Magazine. Sold

Wonderful water effects and again the feel of France, I can almost smell the air!Aline Lotter 29 Aug 2007
I love this one, especially the way the light hits the tress in the middle distance. I generally prefer your plein air pieces.helen tyralik 21 Aug 2007
