Selfportrait

comment: The picture represents a self-portrait separated, not the rappresentazione of the face of the author, but of the same author, of himself, through the abstract art. ENRICO uses the alphabetical characters of just the name in order to paint: to indicate that the name indicates himself, I, that who we are. The letters are something of ration them and show the part ration them of its being. The author uses plastic letters in order to paint, characters from printed publication paper, not manuscripts. That suggests a part rations them strong, framed. The letters, however, are to the contempo of many various colors, decided in accidental order, and not second the outline of the writing. These elements, shattering regarding the rationality, represent the emotions. Like if the emotions, arriving with their beauty and their power, scombinassero all. The alphabetical characters are like leaves scattered from the wind. The positive emotions are represented, with clear and intense colors, but also those negatives, with dark colors. All rose is supported on a background that it sends back to the inner tranquillity, to the lieto fine, the confidence in a positive one that it wraps all. The darker part of the background and the spots, contrapponendosi to the clear rose, represent respective the other the negative part of we and exceptions. The positive one, in any case, remains also in the darker side. Interesting the idea to be confronted, with the abstract one, on a topic classic of the figurative painting: ritratto, the self-portrait. The work opens the field to the abstract selfs-portrait that are imaginable for every person. of Etienne Pascal
