Queen Annika

5 x 7 inches, watercolor and gouache, August 2007. This was painted for the EBSQ Pet Portrait Swap - you pair up with another EBSQ member and exchange pictures of your pets and then paint them! This dog, Annika , looked so perfect on this decorative sofa and cushions, and looked rather grunpily regal - I think she had been woken up for the photo so looked a bit peeved.

Hi Mark - Hope this note finds you well. I retired four years ago and am loving it. The four paintings of our two cats and two dogs still hangs in our home. Melissa, the blonde dog passed two days ago. Glad I have your painting for memories. Best, Rich
