A commissioned job, the face was constructed out of fiberglass and chicken wire coated in resin, then $2,500 worth of quarters (coins) were applied in two layers for complete coverage and then coated with a thing layer of final resin to prevent vandalization and tarnish. The hat was constructed of 10lb sculpting foam, finished with elastomeric patching compound and upholstered in brown felt with a silk band. The job took over a month to complete and is now hanging in the reception area of a major advertising agency in Los Angeles
