Now just how many bones can one dog need anyway?!....if you drag home one more stinky shoe or squeaky toy......have you been raiding the neighbor's trash again because I sure as heck never had any dog food from those empty cans....and how many times do I have to tell you not to drag your dish into the house?! .....You don't even fetch, what do you need with so many frisbees and balls?! I swear if I trip over one more......... Nag, Nag, Nag. As my husband so often points out 'it is better to live on the corner of a rooftop than live with a quarrelsome wife' (he swears that's from Proverbs but I suppose I am just a little bit too busy being quarrelsome to look it up). I do notice he always starts quoting scripture when I ask him to pick up his toys. Inspired the untimely discovery of my dog's secret stash of loot beneath the back porch, "Housekeeping" is a delightfully whimsical piece for the welsh pemroke corgi or canine enthusiast painted on a marvelous, petite 6 x 6 inch stretched canvas. Original in the private collection of L. Bowman.
