This 14 foot faceted glass window in Church of the Holy Spirit in Montgomery, Alabama represents the descentding dove of the Holy Spirit in two key roles within the Church. During Christ's baptism the Holy Spirit descended over him, so this window is above the statue of the resurrected Christ in the church and also above the baptisimal font. The blue colors in the window represent the waters of baptism. The Holy Spirit also descended in tongues of fire upon the apostles on the first Pentecost, so these tongues of fire are also represented in the window.
