Cooperation between artists can take place in
different ways. What about advise?
Yesterday I met
Olga Dmytrenko,
an abstract AW artist with whom I have
momentarily a 2-women-show at
"Central Perk" in Newark
Delaware.
(Check my blog for more
info)
Seeing this painting Olga D. immediately
advised me to hang it upside down. So I did.
Won't you agree?

Some info about this image:
While N.Europe is suffering from one of the
worst wet summers ever, Pennsylvania (East
Coast USA) is celebrating a long hot summer.
That's what I LOVE of the States: their
wonderful Spring, their reliable Summers and
the long Indian Summer during Fall.
During the night it could rain, so the rolling
hills of Pennsylvania still look quite green at
the moment!
Not enough rain though (there's a drought!) for
our yellow lawns...
These colors show it all:
fog in the morning (due to the high
humidity!)
and roaring heat during
the day!
_________
Choice of my color palette:
I used just a little bit of a complimentary color
(blue/red) to give the green/yellow tones an
extra enhancement!
Result: a conjugation of complimentary colors
of this expressionistic view!

Absolutely Fabulous composition, Brilliantly reflective and Certainly Enjoyable.Bruce Combs 31 Jul 2009
Dear Olga, After writing on those other two, I want to tell you that this is in my top three in this small gallery, too. I don't know why I'm telling you, and everybody my ranking here. I don't usually believe in it, and it changes, sometimes the same visit! But I want to tell you that I am sorry that I have not been around more often, both because of what I've been missing and because you were so kind to me when I first joined this wonderful ArtWanted site. I have selfishly both working more on my own stuff and been ill a lot and trying to look around at lots of different people to get a better idea, or feel, for this site, etc. I realize again, more than ever today with your wonderful and varied work, how stagnating and harmful to any learning not to STUDY the best artists for probably as much time as one is practicing. Finally, for today, thank you for inviting me to post my Netherlands paintings in your "DUTCH" Group. I have posted several there -- actually about half of what I have, and will post some more soon. Thank you again, with admiration for all your work, Peace, etec., Bruce Combswayne french 16 Feb 2009
