My first attempt at night-time photography, this was a 4min exposure with full aperture...it was a really low cloudbase, so all the light from Edinburgh was just bouncing off the clouds, which gives the orange-yellow glow. I know this isn't a great quality pic, it's scanned from the original and I'm in the process of getting a digital copy to upload available on the prints program - until then, if you're interested in buying a print of this photograph, give me a shout and I'll organise to get one done!
