Pray

This painting was created strictly because I was feeling sad and upset directly after a big move to a new place. I needed a way to cope with all of the changes, so I created a humbling piece. The girl represents myself, trying to come to terms with the powerful fear of the unknown, represented here by the red dragon / monster. Not only that, but I had just finished reading Richard Harris', 'The Red Dragon', so it was also a means of illustrating how I felt about Dolarhyde and Reba. :) I am fairly proud of this. Done using mainly watercolor paint, with some colored pencil and a small amount of ink.
