nice and interesting comments, however most everyone is going to want to know the size, you might place that info in the description. Truly a great work of art though. Can I ask if you like other wood sculpture feels what the wood has inside it or do you just decide that you want this and begin carving?

Artist Reply: Thank you for the suggestion. The sculptures are mixed media. The bust is high fired clay that is mostly modeled rather than carved. I work from memory from a great deal of life drawing study. As I work I stay focused on a feeling, energy or question in an effort to the extent that I am able to fill the work with discovery.
