Creature of the Night

©Seth F.Weaver,Sr. 06/25/07. A Compullage™ work. Deep in the woods where few ever venture is a delipidated old barn with a secret. In the middle of the night as the screech-owl moans a strange mist begins to rise. Shadows begin to dance and weave and a dim light glows deep in the barn. The owl watches over the scene hauntingly. Could the owl be the disembodied spirit of a former tennant or just a lost soul??? Thanks for looking Seth.

Reminds me of an owl who was sitting on top of my chimney one day. I was cutting the grass and had a strange feeling something was watching me! I looked up and there was the most magnificent eagle owl in broad daylight. He watched me for over an hour. Amazing. Great image.

Artist Reply: Sally, thanks for the compliment. I just have a vast imagination and 20 years in advertising. I feel like the story helps focus the picture to the viewer...it might even make it more interesting. Have a Great Day!
