Late Night Television Toast

This was not a sudden miracle snack apparition while watching David Letterman, but a skillful application of Marmite and butter on toast. Marmite is a spread made from spent brewers yeast. It is high in B vitamins. People either love it or hate it. It was an aquired taste for me. I still have the origional toast which has now been given a coat of shellac. The butter completely melted into the toast.

Artist Reply: Thanks Uche. One of my toast portraits was on a television news program last night. It took me by surprise. The presenter was holding a piece I had sold at a charity auction.
