This is a drawing on paper combining oil pastels and indian ink which produces a wax resist effect in some areas. I have made it quite abstract and expressive by using an unnatural colour combination and very brisk sharp strokes. I feel this has a lot of movement in it and looks very exciting and striking against a plain background.
