Artist Reply: Thanks Curtis for the comment on oi i bite which i have been told could be an orb spider,as with me being on the safe side of the web. Well upon taking this photo i actually happened to destroy this poor chap's home as there were some bumble bees on a hebe bush that i wanted to get a photo of too at the same time of course (hee hee) and so it was a question of what do i do about this spider which in comparison was a lot smaller than the one in the photo you looked at anyway i decided to focus on the bees and after getting a photo of one of them turned round and noticed that both the web and spider were no where to be seen Thanks again Andrew www.artwanted.com/rainbow3
