Artist Reply: Thank you very much for your comment. This portrait is dedicated to my cat called Vasia and it was painted in the last months of his life. Vasia was for me the bridge between my past in Russia and my present in Italy so the background is made of two landscapes: the russian wood and the view of Torino Italy) Have a nice day Yulia
