Black-winged Stilt (Himantopus himantopus) Length - 35-40cm/14-16in Weight 150-200g/5-7oz This Bird was found at Boondall wetlands with its wisp of friends... Most likely migrating birds... Taken with the Canon 400D; Sigma 50-500 telephoto lens and the 2x teleconverter. Image taken at 1000mm focal length. image given additional light in post photo edit. 2007
