While attending art school I was told that my drawing ability surpassed that of my fellow students and even the teachers. From the moment I discovered I could draw as a senior in high school, it was all I wanted to do. While further developing my skills in art school I drew conté portraits of my classmates for $5.00 each. My teachers told me that I could get a minimum of $75 but I found it hard to believe. The elderly hand in this "portrait" belonged to my father who passed away a few years ago. Needless to say, both of my parents were very special.
